Two solo improvisers with a theatrical approach. Paton's work draws inspiration from the traditions of free jazz, harsh noise, metal, hardcore punk, 20th-century classical music, and Fluxus. Expect virtuoso free jazz tonight and, the next moment, dense walls of harsh noise. By collaborating closely with other disciplines such as dance and circus, Villegas gives his solo performance a highly theatrical approach, utilizing texts and audience interaction.

For four months, Kluster5 collaborates with a small group of young composers on the development of new pieces. The core of the new works is formed by the question: Who Are You? The answers have been found in various forms and expressions: music, text, and objects. Tonight, you will not only listen to new music but also get to know three composers.

This trio from Glasgow delivers an unpredictable mix of math, avant-garde, and no-wave. Their music combines gritty sound textures, free improvisation, and heavy, doom-like riffs into a sound that is simultaneously chaotic and razor-sharp precise. With a strong DIY mentality, they move effortlessly from raw sonic explosions to tight interplay.

Delphine is at home on piano as well as church organs, synthesizers, and keyboards. Merging with the atmosphere of churches and nature, her voice often blends with her surroundings, serving as both an embodiment and a ghostly apparition in one. 

In the hushed music of Koude, elements of free folk, drone, ambient, and slowcore come together in a poignant way. With this, Michiel Klein, Keimpe Koldijk, and Ester Venema build upon their previous collaborations.

GOING is a trio consisting of Portugues drummer João Lobo, Italian pianist Giovanni Di Domenico and Belgian/HK pianist Pak Yan Lau. This trio reaches for an universal groove, where minimal meets trance. With the double drums (feat. Tatsuhiya Yamamoto), keys and electronics they craft a great interstellar and urban trip. Stuff to make your brain dance and hum.

Novelo Vago is the garage band of contemporary classical music. They make their music with vocals, toy instruments, wind instruments, small percussion and sex toys. The trio consists of long time friends Vera Morais, Teresa Costa and Inês Lopes. They are releasing their first (kind of) album in 2026!

Clôture Électronique is Jostijn Ligtvoet, a musician exploring the borderland between acoustic and electronic sounds. His cello and modular synthesizer together create a unique sound world, with improvisation at its core.

The three members of Vulcano Trio are from Austria, Czechia and Poland. In their playing they employ preparation techniques and alternative articulation techniques. At the same time they remain true to the tradition of free improvisation, free jazz and contemporary composed music. Each band member brings his own unique sound from his specific background.
