Free try out performance of 'Quadopus'; the new composition for four Philips Philicorda organs by Bart van Dongen, in which the unique technical and physical characteristics of this iconic instrument take center stage, with room for improvisation. 'Quadopus' is the new installation project by Bart van Dongen en Antoon Versteegde.

Two artists present their residency at POM. Dyrghé is an artist with a background as a classical and contemporary percussionist; she writes and performs her own work as a singer and multi-instrumentalist. iornt (Jornt Duyx) is an Eindhoven-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. During his residency he continues working on his project 'Coconspire'.

JazzWorks Eindhoven kicks off the new season with live jazz performed by their own members. Eight combos and bands will showcase a variety of jazz styles. Storm in a Jar is an a cappella quartet consisting of Sterre Konijn, Michaela Riener, Rianne Wilbers, and Fanny Alofs. The four singers compose, arrange, improvise, and perform on a variety of instruments. Their work exists at the intersection of contemporary music, vocal polyphony, and instant composition.

A refreshing mix of down-to-earth jazz with influences from R&B and folk, in which three saxophones and vocals create an open sound and where lyrical melodies and groove take center stage.

Lively free improvisations - on the spot, in the moment, with the best combination of instruments: 2 piano’s, violin, cornet and saxophone, voices and objects, played by Lisa Cay Miller, Nora Mulder, Mary Oliver, Felicity Provan and Ada Rave Chrysalis.

The darkest rocking troubadour of the Low Countries is presenting the next step in his authorship: a second collection of short stories in Dutch combined with an album with songs.

This year Xico and Cedric Vermue will perform at POM during Popronde. Cedric Vermue creates neo-classical and ambient music in which piano, strings, and electronics merge into a hypnotic soundscape. xico is an electroacoustic performance where an acoustic piano becomes a vast loudspeaker.

The European Music Collective presents its Large Ensemble, a 12-piece international group of improvisers.

Grgur Savić and REONA are an experimental duo combining tap dance, saxophone, and found metal objects. Their performances unfold through free improvisation, where movement generates sound, rhythm dissolves into noise, and everyday materials become instruments.

Nothing Bigger Than Humanity invites you to feel what it means to be human in today’s world. In this gathering, we revisit recent world history from four continents, told by millennials who witnessed it first hand as children. Part of DDW program.

Sketch351 & Monika Nowak present JÁTÉK-BOX, an interactive performance conceived to honor and celebrate György Kurtág on the occasion of his 100th birthday. Inside a playground-like structure, five musicians wait in silence until someone dares to spin the wheel. With that gesture, the audience both selects the musical piece as if they were a living jukebox. 

Interlinie brings together musicians from the worlds of improvisation and experimental music in an adventurous program touring venues across Belgium and the Netherlands. Mother Tongue features a collaboration between drummer Frank Rosaly, griot vocalist Mola Sylla, and improvising keyboardist Oscar Jan Hoogland. Bex Burch presents her composition As Yet Untitled alongside trumpeter James McClure, violinist Esther Coorevits, and accordionist Stan Maris.

The Philip Zoubek Trio was founded in 2016 with the idea of developing a distinctive approach to the rich tradition of the piano, bass, and drums format. Seamless transitions between composition and improvisation define the trio's music – at its core lies the organic interplay of the three musicians and the inner logic of their interaction.
